Information you provide: your name, business name, contact details, revenue and time-in-business figures, funding needs, bank account details for funding and repayment, identity verification documents, and any messages you send us.

Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with our site, collected through standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.

Information from third parties: with your consent, bank transaction data through a connection provider, business verification data, and, where you have authorized it, credit bureau information.

To evaluate applications, structure and fund facilities, service your account, process payments, and provide the client portal.

To verify identity, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations including anti-money-laundering rules.

To communicate with you about your application, account, and, if you opt in, products we think are relevant. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

Submitting an application does not trigger a hard credit inquiry. We may perform a soft inquiry that is not visible to other lenders and does not affect your score. A hard inquiry is made only with your explicit, separate authorization.

We share information with service providers who help us operate (hosting, identity verification, bank connectivity, payment processing, email), with funding partners when structuring a facility, with professional advisers, and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers are bound by contract to use your information only to provide services to us.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, mandatory two-factor authentication for the client portal, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and keep your recovery phone number current.

We keep application and account records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, regulatory, and audit requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements, and you may opt out of marketing communications. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. Email privacy@cortexcapital.com to make a request; we respond within 30 days.
